Few sachets of X-Gamer.

When these energy refreshments are put against each other, you may wonder: which is the superior energy punch?

X-Gamer and Zipfizz energy beverages can both be great for gaming and sports training. However, I will vote for Zipfizz as it is better in terms of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids along with the caffeine content that can provide you with enough boost in energy.

Which one is a better choice, X-Gamer or Zipfizz?

Although X-Gamer is cheaper in price, Zipfizz is a better choice as it includes a moderate amount of caffeine and discloses the identity of the ingredients they use, something X-Gamer didn’t bother about.

The basic differences between both the energy brands have been added below through the table.

The basic difference between X-Gamer and Zipfizz.

Nutrition facts of X-Gamer and Zipfizz

Upon taking a closer look at the nutrition table, we can recognize that both the energy beverages include essential vitamins and minerals.

Both the energy drinks incorporate the required B vitamins. But Zipfizz is rich in essential minerals and electrolytes, but X-Gamer is shabby in this section. Even after including 27 essential vitamins and minerals, it only disclosed the name of a few.

Zipfizz is better in my opinion because it maintains the transparency that X-Gamer lacks. Not to forget there isn’t a single person who doesn’t prefer transparency.

Comparison of Calories

X-Gamer includes 31 calories whereas Zipfizz holds 20 calories per serving.

However, if you’re on a low-calorie diet, Zipfizz is the better choice because it has fewer calories. Tracking your calories is time-consuming, and Zipfizz can provide just enough of a boost while still allowing you to indulge in other caloric delights.

The calorie content of X-Gamers isn’t a huge boost, especially if you’re not trying to lose weight. It will provide you with a sufficient amount of fuel to burn, allowing you to execute chores with greater energy.

According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), as a universal guideline for healthy grown-ups, the calorie absorption must be 2,500 calories per day for men and 2,000 calories per day for women.

Side Effects of Calories

The side effects of consuming too many calories may include these:

  • Cardiovascular diseases
  • Risk of type 2 diabetes
  • Gallstones
  • Cancers, especially endometrial cancer

Comparison of Carbohydrates

X-Gamer includes 3g of carbohydrates per serving whereas Zipfizz includes 2g of carbohydrates per serving.

Whichever energy brand you pull, you won’t get a lot which to me is actually great news. Carbohydrates are simply another form of calories that is energy-boosting but also weight gaining.

As much as possible, you’d want to get just enough carbohydrates for the day to fire up your energy because too much of this nutrient increases your risk of heart diseases.

As recommended by the DGA, your carbohydrates should take up 45 to 65 percent of your total daily calorie absorption. Let’s say you consume 2,000 calories a day; 900 to 1,300 calories must come from carbohydrates.

Luckily, X-Gamer and Zipfizz hold very low carbs, so you’re unlikely to have overconsumed the said nutrient even if you take two servings of either brand in a day.

Side Effects of Carbohydrates

The side effects of consuming too many carbohydrates may include these:

  • Weight gain
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Poor metabolic health
  • High blood sugar

Comparison of Sugar

X-Gamer contains 0.2g of sugar while Zipfizz is sugar-free.

There’s nothing to analyze here since both brands have zero to minimal sugar content. This means you’re free to drink them and not have to worry about having a sugar crash or improving your risk of obesity or diabetes.

If they’re sugar-free, what makes them taste sweet, after all? Well, they both utilize artificial sweeteners.

Artificial Sweeteners

Both X-Gamer and Zipfizz include sucralose, while only Zipfizz has xylitol.

Sucralose is calorie-free while xylitol incorporates a low number of calories. If you prefer not to have any calories in your beverage, X-Gamer is your best pull since it’s completely calorie-free.

Artificial sweeteners may have gotten negative publicity, but according to the FDA, sucralose and xylitol are generally safe for human consumption, given that they are utilized in proper amounts.

Their sweetness will not vary from each other since both constituents function the same and provide comparable sweetness.

Side Effects of Artificial Sweeteners

The following are the possible side effects of overconsuming artificial sweeteners:

  • Headaches
  • Dizziness
  • Digestive problems
  • Rashes
  • Diarrhea

Comparison of Caffeine

X-Gamer holds a higher level of caffeine content while Zipfizz has a low to moderate level.

Clearly, one serving of X-Gamer can give you strong physical and mental energy and focus with its caffeine alone. This is great for activities that need long hours of uninterrupted momentum like gaming and sports like triathlon.

However, note that more caffeine doesn’t always imply better. Overconsumption of caffeine can produce mild side effects like vomiting and headache or caffeine overdose, which in rare cases may lead to death.

The daily recommended caffeine admission is up to 400g, and with X-Gamer, you’re already halfway there. It’s important to understand how your body responds to caffeine by better consuming highly caffeinated beverages such as X-Gamer.

Zipfizz, on the other hand, contains low to moderate caffeine content for an energy beverage. Be aware that 100mg of caffeine is still higher in amount than the caffeine in your regular cup of coffee, which is normally 80-95g.

The good news is that with Zipfizz, you can maximize its perks with fewer dangers of experiencing side effects or overdose. Those perks include a boost in energy, enhanced focus, and hydration.

A regular cup of coffee begets 80-95g of caffeine

Side Effects of Caffeine

The possible side effects of consuming too much caffeine are enumerated in the list beloww:

  • Agitation
  • Black, tarry stools
  • Blood in the stools or urine
  • Bruising
  • Burning feeling or tenderness in the stomach
  • Chills

Ingredients of X-Gamer VS Zipfizz

It’s time to look into the nutrition side of their formula now that the main ingredients are out of the way. Aside from the boost and concentration, it’s crucial to know how many advantages you’re getting.

Vitamins

Both brands are packed with essential vitamins, especially B Vitamins. However, Zipfizz contains more vitamins than X-Gamer.

I have added a table below to show the difference between the vitamin content of both energy brands.

VitaminsX-GamerZipfizz

Vitamin B2

The comparison of vitamins

There are many similarities between X-Gamer and Zipfizz’s vitamin content.

They both contain vital B vitamins, which are essential in boosting your energy and enhancing your cognitive functions. Aren’t those exactly what you require during gaming and sports training?

However, only Zipfizz comprises vitamin A and vitamin C. I think having vitamin C can be advantageous as it helps strengthen your immune order. Besides that, there isn’t much of a gap.

Minerals and Electrolytes

Unlike vitamins, X-Gamer and Zipfizz didn’t utilize the same set of minerals in their formulas. However, Zipfizz has more minerals and electrolytes than X-Gamer.

I have added a table below to show the difference in minerals and electrolytes in both the beverages used in their formula.

MineralsX-GamerZipfizz

Potassium
Boron
Lutein

The comparison of minerals and electrolytes.

Both brands use different types of minerals in their formulation and the only common nutrients between X-Gamer and Zipfizz are zinc, copper, and chromium.

All in all, Zipfizz offers more sorts of minerals than X-Gamer. However, X-Gamer has a unique element called lutein. This mineral is beneficial especially in gaming because lutein is considered to be an “eye vitamin”.

If your focus is gaming or anything that happens in eye strain, then X-Gamer might be a better choice for you.

Amino Acids

X-Gamer contains five types of amino acids while Zipfizz only has one amino acid in their formula.

I have added a table below to show the difference in amino acids between these two brands.

Amino AcidX-GamerZipfizz
L-Tyrosine
Taurine
L-Carnitine Tartrate
Glycine
L-Theanine
The comparison of X-Gamer and Zipfizz.

As you can see, X-Gamer has a lot of amino acids, whereas Zipfizz just has Taurine. Although taurine is beneficial in terms of itself, the brand lacks a number of advantages as compared to X-Gamer.

More isn’t always better, but the amount of amino acids in X-Gamer is still within the safe range, so you don’t have to worry about the negative side effects of too much amino acid consumption.

Zipfizz’s taurine content isn’t indicated on the package or on their website, so there’s no way of knowing how much you’ll get per serving. Zipfizz should work on this because Taurine is a complicated component that should not be used in excessive amounts, in my opinion.

Comparison of Flavors

In terms of flavors, X-Gamer is superior and provides a wider selection of flavors. They taste better too based on my reviews.

X-Gamer Flavors

X-Gamer has a total of 22 flavors.

I enjoy that X-Gamer went the extra mile to come up with interesting flavor names rather than sticking with the standard ones like Zipfizz, even if it makes it tough to tell what flavor you’re getting.

  • Hyperbeast
  • Hyper Berries
  • Nightshade
  • Nukefusion
  • Cape Town
  • Powacrush
  • Steve’s Apple
  • King Banana
  • Hydrastorm
  • Black Metal Berry
  • Zomberry
  • Post Melon
  • Dr. Beast
  • Horus
  • Bluenitro
  • Fuzzberry
  • Mega Mango
  • Sour Cherry Twist
  • Sun Beam
  • Sakuragi
  • Gummilicious

Zipfizz Flavors

Zipfizz has a total of 14 flavors.

I’ve already said how much I enjoy X-flavor Gamer’s names, but I believe that having a flavor as plain as Zipfizz’s discourages customers from playing guessing games about how a particular flavor will taste. They’re self-evident, and I’m well-versed in the flavors of berry, grape, and citrus.

  • Black Cherry
  • Blueberry Raspberry
  • Grape
  • Berry
  • Fruit Punch
  • Orange Soda
  • Citrus
  • Pink Lemonade
  • Orange Cream
  • Lemon Iced Tea
  • Grapefruit
  • Limon
  • Peach Mango
  • Piña Colada

Comparison of Price

The prices at X-Gamer and Zipfizz are vastly different. The pricing of Zipfizz is three times that of X-Gamer.

Energy DrinkPriceNumber of ServingsPrice Per Serving
X-Gamer$3560$0.58
Zipfizz$37.9920$1.89
Price comparison of X-Gamer and Zipfizz

When it comes to purchasing a product, the price is a major deciding factor. If you want to save a lot of money, X-Gamer is the way to go.

A tub costs $35 and makes 60 servings, putting the price per serving at $0.58. Zipfizz, on the other hand, only comes with 20 servings for a much higher price of $1.89.

A dollar and a half for a dish may not seem like much, but with something cheaper available, X-Gamer appears to be a far better option.

But, as we’ll see towards the end of this piece, a single-serve of Zipfizz may be worth your money.

Where to buy X-Gamer and Zipfizz?

X-Gamer and Zipfizz are both available to order online. However, only Zipfizz is available in stores.

Both energy drinks can be purchased with a few mouse clicks. The disadvantage is that you must wait a few days for your order to arrive, and shipping expenses tend to increase prices.

It’s far more convenient to be able to stop by the store, get in and out in a matter of minutes, rather than having to wait an hour or more. Only Zipfizz provides you with this option. X-Gamer has yet to be released in stores.

Final Verdict

For games and sports, either product is a good pick. Both energy drinks are clearly designed for their respective markets. As a result, your decision will be based on your intended use.

X-Gamer is an excellent energy drink for long gaming sessions. Caffeine is 200mg in X-Gamer. This is a high-caffeine dose that can boost your focus and alertness, as well as your cognitive function, endurance, and energy supply.

However, Zipfizz is better than X-Gamer due to incorporating a moderate amount of caffeine and offering more vitamins and amino acids, if you’re searching for dietary help in addition to the boost.
