Calorie Content of Mixt Energy Drink

Mixt Energy includes zero calories per serving.

A healthy adult should consume between 2000 and 2500 calories per day, but this can vary based on your lifestyle and level of activity.

Calories are commonly used to quantify amounts in food, although this isn’t entirely correct. Calories are a factor of measurement for how much energy a course of meal provides. To reduce weight, restrict calorie-dense foods – anything that gives you a lot for a little – so you can eat enough to feel completely satisfied.

When it comes to regulating food consumption, it’s crucial not to go too far. Food calories are transformed into fuel for everything from organ and brain functions to walking and even sitting upright before being stored as fat.

Mixt Energy is calorie-free, making it a nutritious beverage that won’t add to your daily calorie consumption. Because it has no calories, you can safely eat other foods with larger calorie counts.

Side Effects of Calories

Consuming calories in excessive amounts might lead to few health concerns, such as follows.

  • Increased blood pressure
  • Overweight
  • Fatty liver disease
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Cancer

Sugar Content of Mixt Energy Drink

Mixt Energy involves zero sugar in its formulation.

According to the American Heart Association, a healthy adult female should have no more than 25g of sugar (6 teaspoons), and a healthy adult male should drink no more than 36g of sugar (9 teaspoons).

Sugar is the most basic type of carbohydrate, consisting of a wide range of sweet, colorless, water-soluble molecules found in seed plant sap and mammalian milk.

Mixt Energy doesn’t contain any sugar, which means you can easily have this beverage without worrying about your blood sugar levels. Also, because there is no sugar in Mixt energy drink, you won’t experience sugar crashes.

Side Effects of Sugar

Consuming sugar in excessive amounts might lead to the following health concerns.

Caffeine Content of Mixt Energy Drink

Mixt Energy includes 166mg of caffeine anhydrous in its formulation.

According to the FDA, an adult without a medical condition can drink up to 400mg of caffeine per day. Hence, the amount of caffeine in Mixt Energy is safe to consume each day because it is less than the recommended amount.

Caffeine is a substance found naturally in coffee beans, tea, and chocolate. After the seeds and leaves of coffee plants are harvested, they are dehydrated to eliminate water and other chemicals. As a result, the term “anhydrous” was coined, meaning “without water.”

The end product of this procedure is concentrated caffeine powder, which is a particularly potent kind of caffeine.

Each serving of Mixt Energy contains 166 mg of anhydrous caffeine. To feel energized entirely, you need 100mg to 200mg of caffeine each day, spread out throughout the day. However, it still depends on your caffeine sensitivity and tolerance.

Side Effects of Caffeine

Consuming caffeine anhydrous in excessive amounts might lead to the following health concerns:

  • Dehydration
  • Shakiness
  • Anxiety
  • Restlessness
  • Insomnia

Artificial Sweeteners in Mixt Energy

Mixt Energy does not use artificial sweeteners to make its drinks sweet. Sucralose and acesulfame potassium are used instead to make this drink taste better.

Sucralose

Sucralose is a sucrose imitative that has been chlorinated. This indicates that it is made of sugar and contains chlorine.

Sucralose is made by displacing the three hydrogen-oxygen groups of sugar with chlorine atoms in a multistep process. Sucralose’s sweetness is enhanced by the addition of chlorine atoms.

Sucralose is 400–700 times sweeter than sugar and unlike other conventional sweeteners, it doesn’t leave an intense aftertaste.

Side Effects of Sucralose

Consuming sucralose in excessive amounts might lead to the following health concerns:

  • Diabetes
  • Cancer
  • Gastric problems
  • Inflammation
  • Obesity
Different viruses in the guts.
Consuming sucralose in excessive amounts might lead to inflammation.

Acesulfame Potassium

Acesulfame potassium, also known as acesulfame K or ace K, is a sweetener made from potassium sulfate. It is sometimes referred to as E950 in Europe.

Sweet One and Sunett are two brands of acesulfame potassium sold by manufacturers. It is 200 times sweeter than sugar and is employed to enhance sweetness to meals and beverages without supplementing calories.

Despite the fact that the US Food and Drug Administration and the European Union’s consumer protection agency continue to approve the use of ace-K in foods and beverages, not everyone believes it is safe.

Side Effects of Acesulfame Potassium

Consuming Acesulfame Potassium in excessive amounts might lead to the following health concerns:

  • Obesity
  • Chronic Inflammation

Amino Acids in Mixt Energy Drink

The amino acids present in Mixt Energy and their work are given in the table below.

Amino AcidBenefitsHealth Risks
L-TaurineSupports nerve growth, lowers blood pressure, and treats congestive heart diseaseSome studies suggest that taurine has been found to cause significant tachycardia (a term used to describe an abnormally fast heartbeat) causing the heart to beat more than a hundred times per minute at rest.
L-Tyrosine Has been found to have the ability to treat depression, narcolepsy, premenstrual syndrome, cardiovascular diseases, and strokeTyrosine consumption may cause nausea, heartburn, headache, and fatigue.
Amino acids and their work.

Mit Energy includes l-tyrosine and l-theanine in its formula. Both amino acids are necessary for our body to stay healthy. Although your body can produce them on its own, you can obtain them from different foods.

Vitamins in Mixt Energy Drink

Mixt Energy comprises three B vitamins in its formulation: Niacin, Pyridoxine HCl, and Methylcobalamin.

Niacin

Niacin is a B vitamin that your body generates and utilizes to convert food into energy. It reinforces the health of your nervous system, digestive system, and skin.

Although niacin (vitamin B3) is frequently incorporated in daily multivitamins, most people obtain enough niacin throughout their daily meals. The recommended daily amount of niacin is 14-16mg per day.

Pyridoxine HCl

Vitamin B6’s hydrochloride salt is pyridoxine HCl. Pyridoxine aids in the balance of sodium and potassium in the body as well as the synthesis of red blood cells when used organically.

It has been used to prevent or cure a nerve condition that can be induced by some drugs. It’s also been used to interpret some inherited conditions. The recommended intake limit is 10 to 75mg per day.

Methylcobalamin

Methylcobalamin is important for the proper functioning of the brain and nervous system, as well as the creation of red blood cells.

It is also in charge of neuronal protection and renewal. The Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for vitamin B12 is 2.4 mcg per day.

The vitamins in the combination are completely safe to eat. In modest levels, these substances are thought to be good for boosting your immune system and protecting your body from diseases. Two of the three vitamins are in excess of the daily suggested amount, but they are still safe to use. They contribute to the increase of health and immune system improvement.

How many Mixt energy drink can you have in a day?

If it’s not absolutely necessary, limit yourself to one serving of Mixt Energy each day.

Because energy drinks are high in synthetic caffeine, sugar, and other undesirable ingredients that may do more harm than good to the body, doctors recommend that healthy people consume only one serving per day.

It may be tempting to consume large amounts of Mixt Energy because it is sugar-free, but this is not a smart idea for your long-term health.

Is it safe to have Mixt Energy every day?

This energy drink can be consumed on a daily basis without causing harm if consumed in moderation.

Because two cups of this energy drink contain 332mg of caffeine, slightly less than the FDA’s suggested maximum of 400mg, you should limit your caffeine consumption to no more than two servings of Mixt energy drink per day.

I recommend starting with one serving and altering as needed if your body and tolerance can withstand an extra serving each day.

Is Mixt Energy good for you?

Mixt Energy can be good for you when taken in moderation.

Mixt contains a number of substances that work together to help you feel more energized. Caffeine, L-Taurine, and a variety of additional substances in Mixt powdered energy drinks help you focus and improve your physical and mental performance.

The positive sides of Mixt energy drink include the following.

  • Improve mental performance
  • Boost your energy to help you burn fat during workout
  • Improve physical performance
  • Lowered risks of type 2 diabetes
  • Reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease

Mixt Energy is also a sugar-free energy drink, meaning it won’t spike your blood sugar. Mixt Energy is also suitable for diabetics who do not want to worry about their sugar intake.

Is Mixt Energy bad for you?

Mixt Energy isn’t bad for you if you consume it in moderation.

Mixt Energy does have a hefty amount of caffeine so people with low caffeine susceptibility might face some health issues mentioned earlier in the article.

The possible adverse effects of Mixt Energy are the following:

  • Racing heartbeat or palpitations
  • Headaches
  • Jitters
  • Nervousness
  • Restlessness

However, you should remember that anything is beneficial when consumed in moderation.

Does Mixt Energy actually work?

Mixt Energy contains 166 mg of caffeine so while it may work by boosting your energy levels you can’t expect it to last especially if you’re doing intensive training or activities.

Because of the amount of caffeine as well as L-Taurine and L-Tyrosine in Mixt energy, it claims to boost your focus and reaction speed, as well as increase your physical performance.

Because it contains no sugar, you won’t experience sugar crash after drinking it. Drinking Mixt before going to the gym will help you burn more calories since it can give you more energy for workout.

I suggest you drink Mixt Energy just to keep you awake but I doubt it would be enough to sustain you for activities that require great energy and mental focus.

Flavors of Mixt Energy Drink

Here’s a list of flavors of the Mixt powdered energy refreshment:

  • Fruit Punch
  • Watermelon Rush
  • Rainbow Candy
  • Sour Slurp
  • Starfruit Blast
  • Orange Sherbet
  • Grape Popsicle
  • Blue Raspberry
  • Fresh Lemonade

Sour Slurp

First, I tried Sour Slurp flavor and it tastes good. However, I was a bit disappointed because it’s not sour at all and it tastes like a creamy blueberry.

The sweetener somehow overpowered the flavor they use. The good thing is that I haven’t experienced a sugar crash after drinking Mixt energy drink.

Fruit Punch

Next, I tried their Fruit Punch and it’s good. It tasted like a gummy bear and had an underlying taste of tropical fruits.

This flavor is pretty unique and sweet, and I have no jittery feeling after drinking this.

Fresh Lemonade

Then, I tried their Fresh Lemonade, and surprisingly I liked this one too. It tastes like lemonade.

However, the Fresh Lemonade flavor leaves a bad aftertaste in your mouth and an overpowering chemical sweet taste.

Mixt Energy includes both natural and artificial flavors.

Mixt Energy can be found in your local grocery or online shops.

You can check in at any time and shop at Walmart or any other supermarket.

If you want to buy Mixt online, you can save money if you buy it from Amazon. You can also buy Mixt energy drinks on the Mixt Energy website.

Price of Mixt Energy Drinks

A tub of Mixt energy drink normally costs around $30, plus shipping, which is a reasonable price given the numerous benefits it provides. The price is basically the same when I checked it on Amazon, Walmart, and their website.

Mixt Energy is way more affordable than other powdered energy drinks like Sneak and G Fuel.

Conclusion

Mixt Energy claims to be one of the healthiest energy drinks handy in the market because it has no added sugar and zero calories. It also includes essential amino acids and vitamins. That’s why I will rate this beverage 8 out of 10.

Mixt has enough caffeine to improve focus and concentration, and it may also be used as a workout drink because it can help improve physical performance.
