Razorwire Energy VS Ghost Gamer (Complete Info)

A sachet of Razorwire Energy.
Razorwire Energy provides a great boost in energy but might contain traces of gluten in it, and individuals with celiac disease should avoid this beverage.

In the energy drink business, Razorwire and Ghost Gamer have long been competitors. These two products have dominated much of the market, and they both claim to boost energy and mental focus.

Although this could be due to the presence of caffeine in both energy drinks in substantial proportions, it is still worthwhile to look into the matter more.

So, let’s get straight to the point! Which one is better, Razorwire or Ghost Gamer?

Personally, I prefer Razorwire as it contains more vitamins and fewer artificial ingredients than the Ghost Gamer energy drink.

Razorwire energy drink contains 150mg of caffeine with no added sugar and 5-16 calories per 5g sachet, whereas Ghost Gamer comprises 150mg of caffeine with no added sugar and 18kJ calories per scoop.

Calorie Content of Razorwire Energy VS. Ghost Gamer

Razorwire Energy includes 15 calories per serving, whereas, Ghost Gamer includes 4Kcal meaning 4000 calories per scoop.

A calorie is a unit of energy corresponding to the amount of heat required to elevate the temperature of one degree of water by one degree.

Calories are just one type of energy measurement. To gain weight, it’s preferable if you take in more calories than you expend. If you bake more calories than you consume, on the other hand, you will lose weight. However, cutting calories without considering what you eat for meals is rarely a long-term weight-loss plan.

The human body requires calories to survive. Without energy, the body’s cells would die, the heart and lungs would cease beating, and the organs would be unable to perform the basic functions essential for survival.

According to NHS, an average man necessitates around 2,500kcal, and for an average woman, that figure is around 2,000kcal a day.

Both Razorwire Energy and Ghost Gamer are low in calories, so you can consume them even if you are on a weight control diet without having any worry.

Side Effects of Calories

The most basic risks associated with high-calorie consumption are the following:

  • Development of obesity
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Diabetes
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Cognitive impairment

Carbohydrates of Razorwire VS. Ghost Gamer

Razorwire Energy includes 1.3g of carbohydrates, whereas, Ghost Gamer includes 2.1g in their formulation.

Carbohydrates are macronutrients and one of the three basic reservoirs of energy for our bodies. Carbohydrates are named for the chemical elements carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen that they hold. Carbohydrates, which comprise sugars, fibers, and starches, are inevitable nutrients. They can be found in cereals, vegetables, fruits, and dairy commodities such as milk and cheese.

Carbohydrates must account for 45 to 65 percent of your overall calorie consumption, according to the DGA. So, if you consume 2,000 calories per day, carbs must account for 900 to 1,300 calories.

It’s comforting to know that you’re unlikely to surpass these restrictions with Razorwire Energy and Ghost Gamer, and you may eat whatever carbohydrate-rich meals you choose.

Side Effects of Carbohydrates

Consuming carbohydrates in an excessive amount might lead to the following health issues:

  • Fatigue
  • Weight gain
  • Weight loss
  • Getting gassy
  • Craving for carbs

Sugar Content of Razorwire Energy VS. Ghost Gamer

Razorwire Energy includes 0.1g of sugar, whereas Ghost Gamer includes 0.5g of sugar in its formulation.

Sucrose is made up of one molecule of glucose and one molecule of fructose aligned together. It’s classified as a disaccharide because it’s made up of two monosaccharides: glucose and fructose. Sucrose is a sugar that occurs naturally in plants and is processed by them.

When it comes to health issues, sugar has a bittersweet reputation. Dairy foods contain protein and calcium, whereas plant meals contain high fiber, essential minerals, and antioxidants.

Blocks of sugar.
Sugar has many negative impacts on health, but both Razorwire and Ghost Gamer include a very low amount thus can be consumed without being worried.

Side Effects of Sugar

If consumed in an excessive amount, sugar might lead to the following serious health matters:

  • Spiked glucose level
  • Obesity
  • Heart disease
  • Chromium deficiency
  • Accelerates aging

Artificial Sweeteners in Razorwire Energy VS. Ghost Gamer

Both the energy beverages include sucralose as a substitute for sugar in their formulation.

Sucralose is commonly marketed as Splenda, a yellow-packaged artificial sweetener. Splenda is different from other sweeteners like aspartame and saccharin since it is made from real sugar. This gives it a distinct flavor that sets it apart from other artificial sweeteners.

Sucralose is a man-made sweetener that has a sweetness level 600 times that of sucrose. Sucrose is partially chlorinated to execute it (replacing OH groups with Cl). Sucralose is a heat-resistant sweetener that comes in powdered form for baking. It’s discovered in a range of foods, including sweet syrups, soft drinks, and confectionery.

Side Effects of Sucralose

Consuming sucralose in an excessive amount might lead to the following health complexities.

  • Fat organs
  • Heart disease
  • Cholesterol level
  • Linked with Alzheimer’s disease
  • Disables appetite control

Upon taking a closer look at the list, we can see that both the energy drinks have a few ingredients in common such as, citric acid, niacin, methylcobalamin, sucralose, l-tyrosine, taurine, etc.

But both energy drinks have a few ingredients that are not common at all such as, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, caffeine anhydrous, AstraGin, theobromine, tartaric acid, malic acid, cognizing, citicoline, tri-sodium citrate, tartaric acid, etc.

If you want to know my opinion, I would say that Razorwire Energy is a better option than Ghost Gamer because it includes fewer chemicals than the latter. Too many chemicals often lead to too many side effects which might have a negative impact on health.

Caffeine Content of Razorwire Energy VS. Ghost Gamer

Both Razorwire Energy and Ghost Gamer contains 150mg of caffeine per serving.

Caffeine is a crystalline methylxanthine alkaloid that is bitter and white. It is chemically related to the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA) bases adenine and guanine (RNA). It’s present in a variety of African, East Asian, and South American plants’ seeds, fruits, nuts, and leaves.

Caffeine can be found in coffee, tea, colas, energy drinks, and chocolate, among other foods and beverages. It can be found in kola nuts, guarana, and yerba mate, among other plants. Caffeine is also included in over-the-counter and prescription medications.

Razorwire Energy and Ghost Gamer contain 150 milligrams of caffeine. This amount of caffeine is reasonable for me, but it can be excessive for others. If you have a high caffeine tolerance, however, 150mg of caffeine will not be an issue.

Caffeine use in excess is detrimental to your health. According to the FDA, grown-up men and women should gorge on no more than 400mg of caffeine per day.

Side Effects of Caffeine

Consuming caffeine in an excessive amount might lead to a few health subjects such as follows:

  • Agitation
  • Black stools
  • Blood in the urine
  • Bruising
  • Burning feeling in stomach

Are Razorwire Energy and Ghost Gamer keto-friendly?

Both Razorwire Energy and Ghost Gamer are low in energy and sugar, so can be consumed during a keto diet.

A ketogenic diet has a low carbohydrate content and a high-fat content. While it may have medical benefits for certain people, there is no proof that it is an effective long-term weight-loss approach for healthy people.

On a ketogenic diet, people consume a low amount of carbohydrates, a moderate amount of protein, and a high amount of fat on a daily basis. This means that the body consumes fat as its primary fuel source and transforms it into ketone bodies through the ketosis process.

Both the energy beverages comprise 150mg of caffeine and almost no sugar. As you know, caffeine benefits a lot in the weight loss journey. Therefore, in my opinion, this energy drink is quite effective and you can apply it while being on a diet.

Are Razorwire Energy and Ghost Gamer vegan-friendly?

Both the Razorwire Energy and Ghost Gamer include vegan-friendly components.

Razorwire officially labeled their product as vegan-friendly. However, Ghost Gamer is yet to claim its product as a vegan.

Veganism is a plant-based diet that excludes all animal foods, including fish, shellfish, insects, dairy, eggs, and honey, as well as animal-derived compounds, items tested on animals, and sites where animals are used for entertainment.

Vegans should avoid wearing leather and animal fur, as well as clothing, soaps, and other products that use or contain animal components. Some individuals choose this way of life as a sustainable diet because of the environmental benefits it gives.

Are Razorwire Energy and Ghost Gamer gluten-free?

There are no gluten-containing components in Razorwire Energy. However, it was manufactured using gluten-processing machinery, despite the fact that Ghost Gamer claims to be a gluten-free product.

A field of wheat.
Grains are the main source of gluten, and Ghost Gamer is a decent choice if you have celiac disease.

Celiac disease is a dangerous autoimmune illness that develops in genetically susceptible people who eat gluten and results in small intestine damage. One out of every 100 people on the planet is thought to be affected. 2.5 million Americans go undiagnosed with diabetes, putting them at risk for long-term health problems.

So, if you have celiac disease or have any predicament related to gluten, you should avoid this beverage, whereas, Ghost Gamer can be your top pick.

Symptoms of Celiac Disease

The symptoms of celiac disease often include the following:

  • bloating
  • chronic diarrhea
