Let’s start with a discussion on the calories in the X-Gamer energy drink mix.

Calories in X-Gamer

X-Gamer energy drink contains 31 calories per serving.

In comparison to other sugar-loaded energy drinks, X-Gamer energy drinks have low-calorie content. The National Health Service recommends that we consume between 2000 and 2500 calories each day. Age, gender, lifestyle, and height will all affect how many calories you consume.

If you’re trying to lose weight, you can add an X-Gamer energy drink to your low-calorie diet. However, if you have a strenuous fitness routine or perform many daily activities, you may need to eat more calories to maintain weight and energy.

Sugar in X-Gamer

Sugar blocks
Too much sugar can be bad for your health.

X-Gamer contains zero sugar in its formula.

This means you wouldn’t have to worry about the dreaded sugar crash. The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends 36g of sugar for men and 25g for women per day.

If you consume too much sugar, you may experience few health issues such as weight gain, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, cavities, high cholesterol, liver disease, etc.

Ingredients of X-Gamer

Let’s take a closer look at the ingredients X-Gamer energy drink mix.

Active Ingredients

The active ingredients of the X-Gamer energy drinks are Taurine, Caffeine, and Niacin.

Taurine

Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that plays an important role in the metabolism of fats.

The body generally produces taurine on its own. Some people, however, are unable to produce taurine and must obtain it through their food or supplementation.

Taurine plays a crucial role in the heart and brain. It aids in the development of nerves. It may also help heart failure patients by reducing blood pressure and relaxing the neurological system. This might help keep heart failure from worsening.

Caffeine

Coffee beans and a cup of coffee
Caffeine stimulates our central nervous system.

X-Gamer contains around 200mg of caffeine per serving (10mg).

Caffeine is a natural stimulant most commonly found in tea, coffee, and caffeinated energy drinks. It works by stimulating the brain and central nervous system, helping you stay sharp and reduce tiredness.

Caffeine is absorbed quickly into the system after consumption. It then goes to the liver, broken down into chemicals that might influence organ function. However, caffeine’s major effect is on the central nervous system and the brain. It works by blocking the effects of adenosine, a neurotransmitter that relaxes the brain and causes fatigue.

The FDA recommended not to take more than 400mg of caffeine per day. If you consume more than the recommended level, you might experience some health issues such as insomnia, dizziness, increased heart rate, anxiety, palpitation, etc.

In addition, if you are a child or a nursing mother, it’s better to avoid caffeinated beverages.

Niacin

Niacin is also known as Vitamin B3, helps to convert nutrients into energy.

Niacin is a water-soluble B vitamin found in some foods added to meals and purchased as a supplement. Tryptophan, an amino acid, may also be converted to nicotinamide by the body. Because niacin is water-soluble, any excess that the body doesn’t require is eliminated in the urine.

It is quite safe when taken orally at the recommended dosage. However, if you have liver illness, peptic ulcer disease, or low blood pressure, you should avoid taking niacin in large doses.

Maltodextrin

Maltodextrin is a dextrin containing maltose used as a food additive.

Maltodextrin is a carbohydrate that goes through a lot of processing. It’s a white powder that’s made from rice, corn, wheat, or potato starch. The powder is added to packed foods and beverages to substitute sugar and improve texture, shelf life, and flavor.

If you have celiac disease, avoid foods containing maltodextrin because it may contain traces of gluten if derived from wheat.

The recommended amount of maltodextrin is 10mg per day, but X-Gamer has not specified the amount of maltodextrin in their energy drinks.

Ascorbic Acid

Ascorbic acid, also known as vitamin C, occurs naturally in citrus fruit, tomatoes, potatoes, and leafy vegetables.

Ascorbic acid or vitamin C is a strong antioxidant that may neutralize damaging free radicals and helps to manage infections and repair wounds. Collagen is a fibrous protein found in connective tissue woven across the body’s different systems, including the nervous, immunological, bone, cartilage, blood, etc.

The vitamin aids in producing many hormones and chemical messengers that are important in the brain and nerves.

As you become older, the recommended dietary intake for Vitamin C increases. If you have renal illness or a genetic iron overload problem, I recommend consulting your doctor before having beverages such as X-Gamer powdered energy drink.

Sucralose

Sucralose, also known as Splenda, is used as a substitute for sugar in foods and beverages.

Sucralose is a low-calorie sugar that has been used in X-Gamer to give it a sugary taste. It doesn’t have a bitter aftertaste like other artificial sweeteners. That makes it a popular ingredient in sugar-free energy drinks.

The FDA has reported sucralose safe for general use. So, you wouldn’t have to worry about its effect on your health when you consume it in a moderate amount.

Other Ingredients

L-Carnitine

L-Carnitine is an amino acid that helps convert the fatty acid into energy and maintains brain and heart function.

Few studies have shown that it lowers the risk of developing Alzheimer’s and other brain diseases.

Although the recommended value range is between 500-2000 mg, we don’t know how much L-Carnitine a 10g serving of X-Gamer contains.

L-Tyrosine

L-Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid that helps produce neurotransmitters like dopamine epinephrine in your brain.

Our body produces it using another amino acid, phenylalanine. When you take it as a supplement, it can increase alertness, attention, and concentration.

You need to consume 45-65 mg per pound of body weight. But there is no information available about the amount of L-Tyrosine in X-Gamer.

Vitamins and Minerals Complex

Different types of berries
Fresh berries are great sources of vitamins and minerals.

X-Gamer contains a multivitamin complex that contains over 27 vitamins and minerals. However, only a few names have been mentioned in the ingredients list of X-Gamer.

  • Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) – It is an essential vitamin that helps our body convert proteins, carbs, and fats into energy. X-Gamer contains 2.4mg of this acid in its formulation, which supplies 40% of our daily value.
  • Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) – This vitamin assists in the production of new red blood cells. It also aids in the maintenance of the energy production system of the body. The amount of riboflavin is 0.6mg in X-Gamer supplies 43.9% of our daily value.
  • Vitamin B6 – Like other vitamins, it helps convert nutrients into energy. This vitamin also helps our body to manufacture neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine. The amount of Vitamin B6 in X-Gamer is 0.6mcg.

Where to buy X-Gamer and how much?

If you are a resident of the United Kingdom, you will find X-Gamer at almost every retailer shop within your community.

But if you live somewhere else, there are always options to buy them online. In such cases, you have two options from where you can purchase it.

A 600g (60 servings) tub of X-Gamer energy drink costs around $35. That is $0.58 per serving. However, prices may vary from shop to shop, plus the delivery charge.

In addition, X-Gamer also offers X-Shotz which includes three sachets of the same flavor for $5. That is just a little bit higher than the price of G Fuel’s packs which costs $4.99 for three sachets. While six sachets of Sneak costs $16.20, that is around $1.44 per serving more than the price of X-Gamer and G Fuel.

However, if you want to try different flavors, you may have to spend around $5 per flavor for X-Gamer and G Fuel. On the other hand, you can choose up to six flavors of Sneak for $16.20.

PriceQuantityPrice per serving
X-Gamer$53 sachets$1.67
G Fuel$4.993 sachets$1.66
Sneak$16.206 sachets$2.70
Prices per 10g sachet of X-Gamer and its competitors.

Considering the prices mentioned above, you can save a lot when you buy the 600g tub of X-Gamer. But it’s better to try the 10g taster packs first so you’ll know if it works for you or not.

  • King of Banana
  • Fuzzberry
  • Powacrush
  • Nightshade
  • Nukefusion

Fuzzberry

In my case, the Fuzzberry flavor is fantastic. It has a strawberry milkshake flavor to it. In comparison to Fuzzberry, Zomberry’s strawberry taste is rather mild.

King of Banana

If you enjoy bananas, the King of Banana flavor of the X-Gamer energy drink is a good choice. It reminds me of a juicier version of banana foam candies.

Hyperbeast

Hyperbeast is a nice, delicious fruity flavor. It tastes like blue razz with a touch of berries. There is no chalky residue, and it tastes like sherbet-infused diluting juice, which is quite refreshing.

However, the Nightshade flavor couldn’t match my tastebud since it tasted like grape syrup.

There’s a lot to choose from with the X-Gamer powdered energy drinks. I recommend that you try a few of these flavors to see which one suits you best.

I have added a YouTube video of the X-Gamer flavors review to help you choose the one you like.

X-Gamer offers various flavors to suit your taste.

Is X-Gamer Healthy?

X-Gamer energy drink contains zero sugar, low calorie, and over 27 essential vitamins and minerals, making it a healthier option.

X-Gamer has zero sugar and low calories. It uses sucralose, low calories artificial sweetener to give the drink a sugary taste.  Sucralose may help in digestion, boost immune function, and decrease your risk of various health conditions.

It also contains vitamins and minerals that offer various health benefits and perform various functions in the body. They also strengthen bones, heal wounds, and boost your immune system.

X-Gamer also contains caffeine which can help reduce tiredness, improve mental function and memory.

Is X-Gamer bad for you?

One serving of X-Gamer per day won’t be a problem, but you should limit your intake.

X-Gamer’s various ingredients have both benefits and drawbacks. That’s why it’s good to moderate your consumption based on the recommended level.

The amount of caffeine (200mg) in X Gamer is high and equivalent to half the FDA‘s recommended upper limit. Also, X-Gamer has not disclosed the serving amount of vitamins in it. So, I suggest limiting your consumption to up to two servings per day.

Conclusion

After trying a few different flavors of the X-Gamer energy drink, I believe you should give it a try. This is due to two factors: taste and a boost in energy without the sugar crash.

Some of the X-Gamer flavors were rather tasty. Horus, Fuzzberry, and Cape Town were all excellent. Nukefusion and Bubblicious, on the other hand, seemed very ordinary to me.

In sum, all flavors of X-Gamer should provide you a similar boost when recharging your energy. Considering its flavors, price, availability, and other factors, I will give X-Gamer a rating of 7 out of 10.

Eat a well-balanced diet and exercise regularly to maintain a healthy lifestyle while enjoying the energy drink.
