Few sachets of Rogue Energy.
Rogue Energy is better than Advocare Spark in my opinion due to the price and formulation.

Energy drinks aren’t all made equal. As a result, no matter how beneficial an energy drink is for me, it may not be successful for you. There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all energy drink.

As a result, we’re going to compare two popular energy drink brands in this post to see which one is best for you.

Rogue Energy is suitable for persons who have an active lifestyle whereas Advocare Spark is suitable for people who don’t get enough vitamins in their diet.

However, if you ask me, I will vote for Rogue Energy due to its higher caffeine content which provides a decent boost in energy at a lower price than Advocare Spark.

Keep reading and dive deeper into the details with me.

Comparison of Calories

Depending on the flavor, Rogue may contain 0 to 5 calories per serving while Advocare Spark holds 15 calories.

The number of calories in a food or beverage determines how much energy it provides. It’s crucial to keep them in check, especially if you’re on a diet, because too many of them transform to stored fats, causing you to gain weight.

If you’re on a low-calorie diet or want to lose weight, Rogue is your best bet. Your diet plans will not be harmed by the 0-5 calories per serving.

With only 15g of calories, Advocare Spark is still considered a low-calorie beverage. However, I believe Advocare Spark’s calorie content is ideal for those who lead an active lifestyle since they are the ones who need more energy to burn, which Advocare can provide.

According to the NIH, as a universal instruction for healthy grown-ups, the calorie absorption must be 2,000 calories per day for women and 2,500 calories per day for men.

Side Effects of Calories

The possible side effects of absorbing too many calories may include the following.

  • Cardiovascular diseases
  • Risk of type 2 diabetes
  • Gallstones
  • Cancers, especially endometrial cancer

Comparison of Carbohydrates

Carbohydrates are another nutrient that is absent in Rogue Energy, but Advocare Spark provides 4g per serving.

If you’re trying to lose weight or avoid gaining weight, Rogue Energy is preferable in the same way that calories are.

The best part is that it frees up more space for you to enjoy other carb sources. French fries, potato chips, or any of your favorite foods are examples.

With as little as 4g of Advocare Spark, you won’t be jeopardizing your diet. Because the body burns calories and other fats on a daily basis, either option is beneficial in the long run.

As approved by the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, your carbohydrates intake should be 45% to 65% of your daily calorie expenditure.

Side Effects of Carbohydrates

Here is the list of the possible side effects of absorbing too many carbohydrates.

  • Weight gain
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Poor metabolic health
  • High blood sugar

Comparison of Sugar

Rogue Energy and Advocare Spark are sugar-free energy beverages.

Sugar-free foods and beverages are something I particularly value in a world when diabetes and obesity have been declared global diseases.

Because both energy drink brands are sugar-free, there is no sugar crash, and the risk of diabetes, weight gain, fatty liver disease, and inflammation is reduced.

Both Rogue Energy and Advocare Spark use artificial sweeteners in their formulation instead of sugar.

Side Effects of Sugar

Here are the possible side effects of absorbing too much sugar.

  • Risk of heart diseases
  • Risk of acne
  • Obesity
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Certain cancer
Colorful sugar candies.
Both Rogue Energy and Advocare Spark include zero sugar.

Artificial Sweeteners

Rogue Energy and Advocare Spark use the same artificial sweetener named sucralose.

Sucralose is an elevated artificial sweetener that is non-nutritive. It’s used in a variety of foods and beverages all around the universe.

According to a study, it is 600 times sweeter than sugar, which explains why it doesn’t take a lot of it to match the sweetness of conventional table sugar. Sucralose has been confirmed safe for human consumption in several studies, so you can rest certain that including it is fine.

Side Effects of Sucralose

The side effects of absorbing too much sucralose have been enumerated below.

  • Trigger for migraines
  • Glucose transport issues
  • Issues with weight stability
  • Decreased effect of therapeutic medications
  • Effects on intestinal bacteria

Comparison of Caffeine

Rogue Energy includes 175mg of caffeine whereas Advocare Spark includes 120mg of caffeine.

Caffeine, as you may know, is a component whose major functions include providing you with energy and raising your brain activity in order to improve your physical and mental performance.

However, the higher the caffeine content, the better and longer it will serve you.

Caffeine, on the other hand, has a higher chance of negative effects. People who aren’t used to consuming caffeinated beverages may find Rogue Energy to be too strong, causing uneasiness, headaches, vomiting, and, in rare circumstances, caffeine overdose, which can result in coma or death.

The 120mg of caffeine in Advocare Spark is also enough for you to feel the effects without risking an overdose.

This level of caffeine is too low when compared to Rogue Energy, but it’s very high when compared to a standard cup of coffee (80-95mg). Rogue Energy is a safe bet if you want a good kick before a task and want to ride the effects for hours.

If you have a high caffeine tolerance, though, there’s no need to be concerned. In fact, if you do, you can maximize the benefits of Rogue Energy’s caffeine content.

Ingredients of Rogue Energy VS. Advocare Spark

Besides all the calories and the caffeine, let’s dive into what else both brands have to contribute.

Vitamins

Advocare Spark has almost all of the B vitamins whereas Rogue Energy only has three of them.

The comparison of vitamins between Rogue Energy and Advocare Spark has been provided below.

VitaminsRogueAdvocare Spark

Vitamin B12400mcg45mcg
Pantothenic Acid50mg

Comparison of vitamin content within Rogue Energy and Advocare Spark.

B vitamins are proven to increase energy and improve memory. Because of these advantages, I believe their presence in an energy drink is critical.

Despite this, Advocare Spark’s vitamin content outperforms Rogue Energy’s.

It’s also worth noting that several of Advocare’s vitamins go above and above the suggested daily amount. Because these vitamins are water-soluble, any excess will be flushed out naturally by the body. However, if you are concerned about this, I recommend speaking with a medical expert.

I have added a YouTube video on the obsession with vitamins to help you understand more on this topic.

Amino Acids

Rogue Energy takes the crown here by including lots of amino acids in its formula whereas Advocare Spark includes only one amino acid in its formula.

I have added a table below to show the basic difference between amino acids Rogue Energy and Advocare Spark.

Amino AcidRogueAdvocare Spark

L-Theanine200mg
Identification of amino acid content between Rogue Energy and Advocare Spark.

When it comes to amino acids, Rogue Energy has the upper hand. Amino acids are essential components of your body and it entails the synthesis of proteins as well as the production of hormones and neurotransmitters like dopamine.

This explains why eating and drinking foods high in amino acids improves your mood and intellect. There are many advantages to Advocare’s formulation that I believe outweigh the disadvantages.

Other Ingredients

Both Rogue Energy and Advocare Spark include almost the same ingredients in their formula to make their drink better.

I have added a table below to show the difference between Rogue Energy and Advocare Spark.

These complexes aren’t present in Advocare Spark, although there are a few independent components from each group present in the mix, such as taurine and caffeine. The rest of the ingredients, however, are unique to Rogue.

It also contains botanical compounds such as Bacopa Monnieri, which is believed to improve cognitive performance, and Mucuna Pruriens Seed Extract, which is an aphrodisiac.

Rogue Energy is offering you a number of incredibly amazing health benefits in their formulation that Advocare Spark just cannot provide.

Given Rogue’s popularity, I believe they should sell their energy drinks in stores like Advocare Spark. It makes their products more accessible to customers without the hassle of shipping and costs.

In this comparison, Advocare Spark is the more accessible option when compared to Rogue Energy.

Which brand has better flavors?

Rogue, in my opinion, offers a better selection of flavors.

The combination of two fruits in one flavor is certainly unique. And, given that not everyone likes fruity flavors, I think offering non-fruit choices is a terrific idea.

In this aspect, the two energy beverages are very closely tied.

Rogue Energy

At present, Rogue offers 13 flavors in total.

  • Rogue Energy Blue Raspberry
  • Rogue Energy Watermelon
  • Rogue Energy Cherry Limeade
  • Rogue Energy Strawberry Kiwi
  • Rogue Shake Caramel Vanilla Latte
  • Rogue Shake Cookies ‘N Cream
  • Rogue Energy Pink Lemonade
  • Rogue Energy Grape Popsicle
  • Rogue Energy Mango Pineapple
  • Rogue Hydration Fruit Punch
  • Rogue Hydration Dragon Fruit Mango
  • Rogue Extreme Strawberry Lemonade
  • Rogue Extreme Green Apple

Fruits have a big influence on rogue flavors. I loved how they combined fruit flavors to give you the best of both worlds in one drink.

Intriguingly, if you’re not in the mood for fruit flavors, you can opt for non-fruit varieties. Rogue Energy’s flavors include Caramel Vanilla Latte and Cookies ‘N Cream.

Advocare Spark

Advocare Spark has 11 flavors with two limited-edition flavors.

  • Cherry
  • Strawberry
  • Blue Raspberry
  • Green Apple
  • Mango Strawberry
  • Grape
  • Fruit Punch
  • Mandarin Orange
  • Pink Lemonade
  • Watermelon
  • Limeade
  • Vanilla Latte (limited edition)
  • Cranberry Peach Orange (limited edition)

Advocare Spark’s tastes are clearly inspired by fruits. Their flavor names, like Rogue Energy’s, are straightforward, which I think is fantastic because it makes it easy to guess what it will taste like.

It all comes down to personal preference, whether you prefer a single flavor or a combination of both.

Final Thoughts

Rogue Energy and Advocare Spark each have their own set of benefits and drawbacks. Rogue Energy has a higher caffeine concentration, which I find good for folks who require a greater amount of energy and endurance. It also has complexes with numerous health benefits.

Advocare Spark has more vitamins but at a higher dosage. It’s still a good option for people who aren’t getting enough nutrients from their current diet.

Personally, I’d rather choose Rogue Energy over Advocare Spark as it can provide a better energy boost at a lower price.
